Hi all who read this,

I have the wish to study the Scripture 'Not Two' together with other people. And I made a facebookgroup Not Two Dragons for this, together with Heath Thompson, who is not in for study, and who makes beautiful Daoist poets... and together we agreed that one doesn't need to study or practice, that one can experience simplicity and stillness by accepting..

(so we made also a facebookgroup for people who like to have such a place to remember 'it'...)

The Scripture is helping though, and studying it gives good vibes, to come to this realisation.

It is for people who are interested in this Scripture, to understand it, and for those who want to have a practice... it is also here on this forum... for one who is not connected to facebook.

You may contact me.

When interested, it is open for exploration for some time.

Wish you well, Jolanda

Thank you Jolanda!  I have been looking for that text forever. It was posted on a Daoist site years ago, but I could never find it again... I've found it now, and I'm delighted!

Is there a non-facebook link to it? I'd love to see it. Thanks!

Here you go Rene.  This isn't the very same translation that Jolanda refers to, but it's the one I remember from long ago the DaoBums site. Like finding an old friend...  And I think it's right up your alley....

Or maybe not, lolol

Thanks Cheya!

And, its up my alley... but it's not the only thing on my street.

You know how I'm always saying Both, same time?

The 'Not-two' finger points to only half of that.

Oh well. LOL Thanks again!

The ending of the quote sums it all up very well... Trust is key...

One thing, all things: move among and intermingle, without distinction.
To live in this realization is to be without anxiety.

When you see things like this, You are already complete.

Trust and Mind are not two. Not-two is Trust inMind.

The Way is beyond all words: Not past, not future, not present.

I am sorry I have not opened the button to receive replies... I will do from now on ...

Rene: Oh well! :-)

For me Daoism is philosophical, but with a very deep religious aspect: meaning the Daoist religion may be practiced and studied, giving structure and ritual, and I like to know about it, but for Western people it is [more or less] strange to believe in Chinese gods... leaving out if one believes in God(s) or not, while studying / practicing Not Two, it will be clear there is only One - (but by that nothing is left out, even nothing is not left out), so how can it point to only half?

Steve: I called it Not Two Dragons because it refers to Daoist lineages, and one may see it that way: as a community on facebook :-).

But at the end, when the practice is done, it will be clear there aren't two dragons.

I will try if it works when I enter the code from invitation of the group: if not maybe you can give me your facebooknames through a personal message, and I will befriend you, and invite you to Not Two Dragons.

Invitation and code:

Hi, my name is Jolanda, and I want to share some of my Daoist Practice, meditation and recitation and reflections. If you are interested, you are welcome to join. There is no need to practice, or exchange, it is ok if you like to follow in silence. Interaction with respect and observation (self-reflection) is appreciated.

(This page is set up together with Heath Thompson and the Facebookpage The Way of Simplicity and Silence, which has set an limited amount of members)

Not Two Dragons will be open for everyone, but now and then, and for some people/trolls etc., closed for keeping the environment safe...
